From the classroom to Capitol Hill she’s spent her career promoting social justice. She was previously the lead education lobbyist for the National Wildlife Federation, and served as an aide to Mayor Michael Bloomberg (NYC) and Congresswoman Yvette Clarke (NY-11). She is the Editor-in-Chief of threeLOL and her writings are frequently published in The Atlantic, Essence, and Huffington Post. She serves on the Board of SMYAL.
