While our country becomes increasingly more diverse Hip Hop music it seems is becoming incredibly whitewashed.

What does it mean when black Rap and Hip Hop artists are continually overlooked by the mainstream- while white artists who appropriate black cutlure- are celebrated as the savior of entire genres of music?
